We all have our favorite Youtubers that we religiously watch, and I'm no different. But lately I have been seeking out emerging vloggers for two reasons. First, their small followings tend to make their product reviews more honest, because they are not sponsored and use their own funds to buy the products. Second, it always excites me to follow a new vlog- it's as if I'm meeting a new person. Below is a short list of my favorite emerging Youtube vloggers, be sure to check them out!
1. Cydnee Black
I discovered her channel via Vicky Logan's channel. Cydnee Black is a makeup artist who simplifies the fiercest makeup looks, and her eyes are absolutely mesmerizing. And yes, they are her real eyes! She does the perfect looks for brown-skin girls and uses a range of products from high-end to drugstore. She also includes her personal life in several vlogs as well, which make her more personable! Definitely check her out to upgrade your eyeshadow game!
2. Trendy K
I stumbled upon her channel when I was searching for a straight, synthetic wig. Trendy K, is laidback and cool, and absolutely slays when it comes to synthetic wigs! All of the wigs that she reviews are affordable and although they are synthetic, she wears them as if they are brand new bundles of virgin hair. She presents the wigs in a high end fashion, and is completely honest when it comes to the pros and cons of each unit. Definitely view her channel for affordable wig units.
My best friend and Youtuber Noelle Anais (listed below) introduced me to her channel. TheHeartsandCake90 is so personable and honest in her reviews. Her channel varies from hair reviews to thrift hauls and vlogs. She also reviews synthetic units that are more affordable. She shows you how to tweeze wig parts to make them more natural, and how to blend a unit with your hairline. I enjoy her channel for the authenticity of her reviews, and the variation of the wigs she reviews. Definitely look to her channel before purchasing a synthetic wig!
4. Noelle Anais
*That's my best friend, that's my best friend....* Noelle Anais is a new Youtuber who is steadily growing her channel. I've known this young lady most of my life, and I've known her to always be a hair queen! She's made a countless number of wig units with synthetic hair and human hair for herself many years before the debut of her own Youtube channel. I enjoy her honest hair reviews and the many styles you can do with wigs! Not only is she a DIY queen when it comes to wig units, but she also reviews premade units as well. And she makes sure to wear the hair for some time before reviewing. Not to mention, her Instagram is also lit! Be sure to follow her channel for honest hair reviews on various textures.
5. Tayllor Lloyd
She is another Youtuber introduced to me by way of Vicky Logan, Tayllor Lloyd is her "twin wife" and was featured in a tag video on Logan's channel. She is quite comical, and relatable and her makeup is on point! She has worked for many beauty counters, and it definitely shows in her eyeshadow technique. Her skin is absolutely flawless and shows through her makeup regimen. Oftentimes, she does apply a full face of makeup, but she makes sure to let her flawless skin show through. In the above video she features her husband in the opening to explain the tutorial in the video- it's super-adorable! Definitely click on her channel for everyday makeup looks!
