WARNING: I am not a financial advisor, just a girl on a budget :)
Someone once told me that you can tell where you're mind is at by looking at your bank account. If you take a look at your withdrawals, where is your money going? What are you working for? Is most going to your savings, or are you spending it right away for shorter term tangible items such as, food and clothes? What is your financial weakness?
Personally, for me, my weakness is shopping for beauty products and eating out. My bank summary has been looking the same for the past few months. And although I am a very avid saver, I could be saving so much more if I was wiser about my spending habits. Limitation is key. Knowing that I am most likely going to buy beauty products and food; why not limit my interaction? Only going to Walgreens once a month, unless picking up medication; or only choosing to eat out (includes fast food) three times a month- if that (clearly I need to cook more).
It's time to take control over our finances queens!
