So for the past month I have been incorporating the Soultanicals loc line into my hair regimen trying to switch it up this summer!
It's been 18 months ya'll- and my babies are doing so well!
I have exciting news! This year at the Kansas City Natural Hair Expo I will be introducing my own segment, Tea Talk With Hay Queen! on August 5th! I'm super-excited about this opportunity and I hope to see a lot of my readers and supporters there.
So if you're subscribed to my newsletter (which you should be) I have mentioned that I am no longer interlocking my hair, but have switched back to retwisting. There are many reasons for this, but that's for another post. In the post, I'm going to rave about my new found love for aloe vera gel!
Hay Queens! Long time, no posts. And I sincerely apologize for that lovelies, but please be patient with me as I continue to try and get my life (lol).
As you can tell by the title of this post, I am giving you all my 14 month loc update! Although, I am no 16 months into my journey as I write this. I wanted to update my readers about what has been going on with my hair. Below, you can find my 14 month loc update video. Enjoy!
For the past three months I have been in love with Tiffany's Loc Jewels' products. Before trying these products I was on the lookout for a new hair refresher or leave-in conditioner, and thank goodness I found these products! Keep reading to see why I'm absolutely obsessed with these products now.
I am currently 14 months into my loc journey! *commences happy dance* And a common question that I have been receiving is: How do you protect your hair? And the answer is, through protective styling. Say what? You can do protective styling with locs? Why yes, of course you can. My go-to protective style are Havana twists!
As I approach my one year mark of having my locs, I can't help but be a little nostalgic of when I first started them.
The 2016 KC Natural Hair Expo was absolutely rejuvenating! From local vendors to enlightening discussions and classes, this year's expo presented the most positive experiences for all natural hair enthusiasts!
We have made it to six months ya'll!!!! My loc babies are maturing into a beautiful set of locs and I couldn't be happier.
