Everyone aims to achieve that "no-makeup" makeup look. It's suitable for everyday occasions and enhances your beauty as opposed to covering it. So here is how I achieve my everyday makeup.
*Caution: I am not a makeup artist, this is just my everyday makeup regimen.
1. Cleanse, tone, moisturize and prime face.
This is me without makeup. I have a few past acne marks on my skin, which is the main reason why I opt to wear makeup almost everyday. I cleansed my face, then used my toner, next I moisturized with my daily moisturizer that contains SPF30 and followed up with a face primer.
2. Slightly fill in brows
Mine are way overdue to be waxed, but I still try to tame them as best as I can for a more polished look. I used a dark-brown brow pencil, and use hair gel to blend and smooth down.
3. Add liquid foundation
I first add a thin amount of liquid foundation to my skin using a beauty blender, then I add another layer of the foundation for more coverage and blend before adding concealer. This picture above is after adding the first layer of foundation.
4. Add concealer, powder and blush
After adding liquid foundation, I use concealer under my eyes and for those darker areas of my skin that still need coverage, which are mainly my chin and jaw-line areas. I then take my brush and blend like my life depended on it, before adding powder foundation. Once adding the powder foundation I blend some more, and use a light amount of blush on my cheeks (I did not add blush before taking this picture).
5. Add mascara, lipstick and finishing powder
And there you have it! My natural makeup routine!
