Hay Queen! has been on such a hiatus, so there are tons of things for us to catch up on! Over the past few months, the weather has become more fall appropriate. And with that, I have accumulated a few favorite products that range from hair, skin and makeup. Here are a few products that I have been loving lately!
1. Simple Cleansing Micellar Water
Adding this product to my face regimen has done wonders for my skin. In one step I'm able to remove most of my makeup and cleanse my face as well. It's a simple makeup or oil remover. Gentle, unscented, and simple. Since using this product as a part of my night routine, I don't have as many breakouts. I'd definitely recommend it for all of the lazy nightime people (raises hand). If you're exhausted and don't feel like cleansing/exfoliating after removing your makeup. This product alone will suffice for that.
Price: $6.99 at Target
2. Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer
I've been using this product for almost a year now. I love it! It's light enough to wear in warmer temperatures, and moisturizing enough for the cold weather as well- which is perfect for the fall weather when you're going in and outside. It is also unscented and contains SPF15 to protect your skin. I've been using this in my skin regimen for some time now, and I 100 percent recommend it to those with sensitive skin, like myself.
Price: $9.99 at Target
3. Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner
This was also mentioned in my skin regimen. I've been using this product since the summer as well. It is unscented and alcohol-free! So you're able to tone your skin without the burning sensation. This product is great to rebalance the oil in your skin.
Price: $7.99 at Walgreens
4. SheaMoisture Beauty Bar
I've been rocking with the SheaMoisture beauty bar clan for over a year now. And I highly recommend for those who have sensitive skin, but love low-maintenance regimens. This product is affordable and lasts forever! The bar is huge, and can last up to four months, if you're only using it for your face. These bars contain ingredients such as, shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, and lavender oil. So you'll feeding your skin great nutrients!
Price: $4.99 at GNC
5. Makeup For Ever HD Pressed Powder
I've been using this powder for over a year. And not only has it lasted me that long, but it is a must-have for my makeup regimen. I use this product to set my undereye concealer and eyebrows, and it definitely helps to keep my shine under control. It is pricey, but the longevity of the product is great!
Price: $36.00 at Sephora
6. L'oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation (110 Créme Café)
I recently bought this foundation in early September, and I've been loving it as my new go-to foundation! I've seen a numerous amount of Youtube gurus mention this foundation as the holy grail of drugstore foundations, and so far, I'm impressed. It glides smoothly on my skin and the color of the foundation, is very similar to my natural skintone. A little goes a long way, and I love that the product is packaged in a squeezable tube, where you can use the product until it's completely gone. The finish is matte as well, but doesn't leave my skin too dry. It also does not transpire as much as my other foundations.
Price: $12.99 at Walgreens
7. NYX Honey Dew Me Up
I'm ONLY including this product within my fall favorites, because it worked well as a backup face primer and nighttime serum. Those are the only reasons. The product is unscented, which is great for sensitive skin; and packaged beautifully, for those who are into aesthetics as it pertains to their beauty products. BUT other than that, this product was bland. I did like to use it as a night serum, because it helped to moisturize and was a gentle product to calm my skin after exfoliating. I wouldn't recommend this product because it very pricey for the amount of product giving. But if you can swing $17 for the product, why not? I was trippin' when I bought it, but I'm still glad I tried it.
Price: $16.99 at Ulta
8. NYX Blush in "Mocha"
This was one of my first blushes I've tried, so I am very much tied to it emotionally! I love this blush! It looks great for brown skin tones, and is a very subtle blush. Your cheeks look truly rosy, but subtly. This is perfect for all temperatures, but especially love wearing it in the fall when the temperature is dropping and my browness starts to fade. And it's available for the low-low! Definitely recommend.
Price: $4.75 on Amazon
9. Dr. Jart+ BB Black Label Detox Beauty Balm
I've had this product since March. I received it in my Beautycon Dallas gift bag. If you haven't read about my experience there, definitely check it out here! Anyways, I recently decided to try the sample size, and it works great as a makeup primer. It will definitely leave your skin with a gray tint, so that's why I recommend to utilize as a primer. After, you have to work in your regular foundation a lot! But after, you're left with perfectly matte skin, that lasts longer- at least that was my experience. I recommend this product for those who have time to really work in their foundations, to blend with this product. It is really pricey, so I'm glad I received a free sample. It's available at Sephora, who is known to give out samples. Definitely ask for one, to prevent forking out $36!
Price; $36.00 at Sephora
10. Milani Baked Bronzer in "05 Soleil"
This is my first bronzer that has been somewhat pigmented. This product gives me a subtle glow, which I am okay with. I don't like having extra-glowy skin because my skin is already oily, this product allows me to non-disco-ballish :) It's affordable and lasts for a long time as well. Also, for the looks that you are wanting a more pigmented glow, spraying finishing spray on your makeup brush before adding the product will help you to do this!
Price: $7.29 at Amazon
11. NYX Matte Lipstick in "MLS09 Natural"
Who says pink lips are only for the spring and summer? This pale pink is perfect for the fall too! It's extra creamy, and stays on for hours!
Price: $6.00 at NYX
12. Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in "07 Broadest Berry"
I love this color for an everyday look. It is on the dark side, so it perfectly matches the autumn hues I tend to wear in the colder months. This color is creamy and has an easy application. It is pricey for a lipstick, I received it as a gift, so normally I would not purchase a lipstick this expensive. I'll try to find a cheaper dupe for you queens on a budget like me!
Price: $17.00 at Clinique
13. Wet 'N Wild Matte Lipstick in "906D Wine Room"
Wet 'N Wild by far is my favorite lipstick brand. They provide so many shades to match any outfit, day, emotion- whatever! Not to mention, the application is very smooth, and the product is very creamy. My lips do not feel dry, but moisturized. And their products are affordable and accessible in most drugstores. This color is perfect for fall. It's a rose pink with red and brown undertones. It's a less aggressive pop of color.
Price: $1.99 at Walgreens
14. Wet 'N Wild Matte Lipstick "Mochalicious"
I started wearing this color in the spring, despite its dark tone- that's how much I love this shade on my skin! But I especially love it for the fall. It definitely reminds me of café's and apple cider!
Price: $1.99 at Walgreens
15. Colourpop Matte Lippie Stix in "Bichette"
Red is the color to wear in any season. I specifically love this product because it leaves my lips moisturized, and lasts through eating and drinking- so it's definitely a going-out shade. The application is made easier with the angled tip of the stick. I'll definitely be trying more Colourpop lipsticks in the future!
Price: $5.00 at ColourPop
16. Beautiful Textures Curl Control Defining Pudding
, aI reviewed this product a few months ago, and had to come back to it! I love the Beautiful Textures brand as a twisting cream. It's light, moisturizing and lightly scented. Also affordable and contains a generous amount of product for the price, and a little goes a long way!
Price: $10.34 at Amazon
17. OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk
This is my first time using OGX oil, and I'm impressed. I love coconut oil/milk for my hair. This product is not completely organic (you can tell by the smell), but still leaves my hair soft and moisturized. It's also plus that the product comes in a pump. Easy for application!
Price: $5.60 at Wal Mart
18. OGX Tea Tree Oil Conditioner
This conditioner is hands-down my favorite conditioner I've used in a long time. It's lightly mint-scented and very creamy. Not to mention, leaves my hair soft and moisturized. OGX is slowly winning my heart, when it comes to affordable hair products.
Price: $5.62 at WalMart
19. Belle Butters Shea Mango Fluffy Butter
20. Design Essentials Sleek Max Edge Control
The best edge control I've ever used! It not only smoothes my edges down, but moisturizes them as well. With past edge controls that I have used, my hair would be perfectly smooth when first applying the product, but would leave white, flaky residue by the end of the day. This product doesn't leave any residue. And with some edge controls my hair curls up, as opposed to being smoothed out, I never received this result with this edge control. It is more expensive in comparison to other edge controls, but it lasts a long time. I've had this since June, and I've just ran out!
Price: $7.36 at JC Penney
